A1: The Osight XE is built on the industry-standard (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) footprint, making it directly compatible with most full-size and compact duty pistols.
Q2: How many reticle options does the Osight XE offer, and can I switch between them?
A2: The Osight XE features the industry’s first 2/6+32 MOA Multi-Reticle System, giving you five distinct aiming configurations: 2 MOA dot, 2 MOA dot + 32 MOA circle, 6 MOA dot, 6 MOA dot + 32 MOA circle, and 32 MOA circle. You can toggle between these modes instantly, making it uniquely adaptable to competition, duty, or defensive scenarios.
Q4: Is the Osight XE suitable for use in harsh weather or wet environments?
A4: Yes, it’s built for real-world conditions. The Osight XE is rated IPX7 waterproof, far exceeding the IPX4 rating of many competitors. The entire housing is machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, making it highly resistant to impacts, corrosion, and extreme temperatures.
Q5: What makes the Osight XE’s backup rear sight different from other red dots?
A5: Unlike others that rely on external or removable backups, the Osight XE integrates the industry’s first Collapsible Backup Rear Sight (CBRS) directly into the optic body. It’s low-profile, snag-free, and instantly deployable—giving you a true iron sight picture without compromising the optic’s compact footprint.
